Mallory's Birthday Party

This year I was a little run down because of doing Mal's room so I opted to buy a cake. Mallory chose the "party" cake and was just as happy with it as she would have been with one of mine. Mallory wanted to have everyone to draw bunnies. They turned out really well.

After breakfast we took the girls down to OMSI.

They had a good time.

Mallory's room redo

Oh Mallory how you love art. I just couldn't handle it anymore. What a mom huh? Mal's room just didn't fit together well. And after a very long time many different idea's come and gone I decided on a plan. The girls were all for it too.
This is the hey, we've painted and here's the new bare bones....

Adrianna- a very best friend of mine worked and slaved with me on this project. She even had the patience to teach me how to do the cutting on the chop saw ( that included me using the measuring tape and having to get it right!) and to change out the electric sockets. I even used a nail gun by myself. I am so excited about getting over some of my fears. The paper on the wall is being held up with a magnet! Nona heard about this magnetic paint and told Mal about it. We decided to spring for it and it really works! It took 3 coats of the magnetic paint, 1 of primer, and 2 of the green but it was well worth it.

Right now I'm waiting for the paint on some frames to dry so I'll have to post once her room is all the way finished.
