Oaks Park

The girls wanted to go to Oaks Park and Connor didn't so we went when he was in band camp. The girls each brought a friend and they had a good time. Pete took a 1/2 day so I wouldn't have to sit around by myself. He always makes things better. This time he made it go by, by coming up with a points game. What is that you say? I'll tell you. 5 points for whoever guesses right which of the girls will check in first.

3 points for the first one who sees the girls first.

2 points for the first guy you see with a tattoo.

(This one was pretty hard. It was all women we saw with them.)

2 points for the next rolling cooler you see.

5 points for the first mullet you see.
So on and so forth. It was a lot of fun. I think it's how Pete can handle my people watching. I'm content to watch people but Pete needs competition. We ended up running into the Dominguez clan and so the rest of our afternoon was spent hanging around with them. Pete and I can't handle the spinning rides anymore so we skip the rides and watch.

Doesn't Mal look like she's having a ball?
We really did have a good time and the girls did too.

New Roof

We had a leak last year. And then again this year. So before the rain set in for the next however many months we decided to get a new roof. What a fun week. I like how it looks and hopefully it will protect our home from any more leaks!!

Pete's Birthday

Pete wanted me to make this Lime Coconut Cheesecake, so I did. It tasted really good except the crust because it got wet during the baking. Next time I'll do better. Happy Birthday Pete!

Prineville

We had a good time out at Prineville. Mallory was pretty well living in the sand and we enjoyed the hot weather.
We got to see the Tonks for a bit,

and play on the boat.

All of the kids made this masterpiece together and it kept them occupied for hours.

Another fun weekend.

Trip to Utah

We started off by getting down to my Aunt "s house so I could see my cousins. We had a quick but fun visit. I wish I could see them more. Next we started helping Nona and Papa in their new house. Nona played the marble game with the kids. I think we need one of these...
We went up to the Olympic Park for some fun....

The next morning we stopped by our nephew's cinnamon roll stand for breakfast. These guys make bank! The rolls were fantastic!

We then headed out to Aunt Darlene's for horse back riding with Uncle Lavar.

Pete showing off his scars from the Alpine slide.

Our friends from San Diego happened to be passing through so we met up with them for dinner. It's always good to see them and I wish we lived closer.

Pete was ordained a High Priest by his dad while we were back there.

We had fun with Jeanette, Todd and their girls.

A fun filled and packed 6 days!!!
