BYU visit

We took the kids up to the campus to see where Pete went to school.

Then we drove them by all of our homes that we lived in while going to school. This basement apartment was dubbed the "Alice in wonderland" apartment because the doors were cut off at the bottom to fit the lower ceilings making the door handles really close to the floor.
This basement apartment was where we brought Connor home when he was born. Pete loved this apartment. It had a HUGE kitchen.
This was where we brought Court home to after she was born. They cut down our favorite tree out front. I guess Pete kind of helped with that when we moved and he took out a 8 ft limb with the moving truck. Whoops.
And after a fun and long day Uncle Pete held Felicity.

On Monday and Tuesday, we visited more family and friends. We had a great BBQ at my Aunt Patty's and got to see most of my cousins. It was great to catch up with everyone and to see their growing families. On Tuesday we met our friends John and Amber for dinner and dessert before heading out of town on Wednesday.

Seven Peaks

We took the family to Seven Peaks for some water time. It ended up being a pretty cold day so the upside was that the kids went on all of the slides as many times as they wanted without a wait. It was fun being there with the cousins.

Pete and Tom were doing some pretty good synchronized swimming. I couldn't capture the moment very well!

Noah's Ark

We went to Thanksgiving Point to the Noah's Ark area for kids.

The adults went out on a date later that night. We went to the Red Iguana. It was very good and it was fun to be out with Tom and Jess, and Todd and Jeanette.

Down at the ranch....literally

Wednesday we went down to Aunt Darlene and Uncle Lavar's house. The kids call it the ranch. Uncle Lavar let the kids ride horses.

Connor impressed me with how well he did on his own. This was the last picture of me on a horse before I fainted. Uncle Lavar and Papa had to slide me off the horse and move the horses so that they could lay me down. Papa said I was out for about 3 minutes. I guess I was really dehydrated because from then on just going outside would make me feel sick to my stomach.
The rest of the gang was enjoying the pool. I was a little jealous! Jeanette took this picture of Todd, Ellie and Mal. Cute!
Aunt Darlene came to get me so I wouldn't miss this treat. I know Connor likes dogs but now I know how much! I know he misses Hershey a lot.
Aunt Jeanette came around the front of the house and found Mallory. She'd been swinging there for awhile.
I sat inside for the rest of the day but got to watch the humming birds.
I don't have pictures but a big wind storm came. Every one evacuated the pool and came inside. Aunt Darlene's trampoline was blown over the fence and into the trees! All in all a very exciting day! Thanks Darlene for letting us come down!

Tuesday's adventures

Nona and Papa took the four oldest grandchildren with them to the family history library and to the conference center. The kids all had a wonderful time. These are some of Courtney's pictures.

Monday Papa and Nona took the kids to Cabella's. The kids had a good time hanging out with Nona and Papa and especially liked the shooting game. Monday night we got to see our friends the Tuttles. The kids always get along well and it's nice to catch up on each others lives. We were there for Drew's birthday. It was a fun night.
