Halloween 2011

Courtney and Connor both dressed up for a Y/W and Y/M activity. Court went with Victorian Goth and Connor went mad scientist.
We are having an unseasonably dry season and Mal used it to full advantage! Carving pumpkins was fun.

Happy Halloween!!

Nona, Papa and Courtney

Nona and Papa came to town and brought Court her birthday gift. Her Book of Remembrance.
She was excited to get her own book and then go to dinner at Outback.

Band trip to Kennewick

I went with the band on the Kennewick trip. I had a blast. The kids and chaperone's slept in the gym and the next morning the kids performed. They did great! It was fun to learn how the band runs and to be able to pitch in and help. It was nice too, to be there to watch Connor having a good time.

Mal's 5th grade Crazy Hair Day

This is what Mal wanted and it stayed in all day. Even after PE and the Tiger Trek. Getting it this way was fun, getting it out was another story!!

Girls 1st cake

The girls wanted to make a cake so I told them go ahead. They made the cake and then helped with the frosting. They then wanted me to frost it but they came up with the design and the word. Good job girls!

Parent Band Performance

Connor jumped into band in August and has been going since. The band and colorgaurd put on a performance to show the parents how much they had learned in just 2 weeks. They looked fantastic and sounded just as good.
I'm looking forward to this year for Connor.

Courtney's 12!

Courtney turned 12! We had presents first thing in the morning because she couldn't wait until Pete got home.

And I made her take the picture with the cake because I was worried it wouldn't hold up. I stayed up way to late so it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. Court thought it was great though and that's all that matters.

We weren't sure what we were going to do for the day and so she ended up at an impromptu skating party and had some friends back over for cake and ice cream.

I still can't believe she's 12, a beehive in Young Women's and a 7th grader! Happy birthday Courtney. It's going to be a fabulous year!!
