Ah, the start of a new year

Yes that is our fence laying in our neighbors yard. Very little snow is left. YEAH!!! But the rain that washed away the snow was brought in with a bit of wind and our fence (which had been previously broken) decided it didn't like all that and gave up the ghost.

We have someone coming to fix it today. Hopefully.

The kids are back in school today and I am doing a jig. Last night I was having a bit of a break down because it started snowing. Again. And it was sticking! Don't get me wrong, I love my kids but having them home for three weeks when I was ready to handle two is another story. They did okay for most of it and I did have fun playing games with them during our snow in but I get a bit crazed when I can't get out and do something. The days melted into each other and it was like Groundhog day for me. I used to think I wasn't much of a scheduler but it has come to my realization that I do best with a bit of structure. This doesn't mean I wont drop everything to do something spurr of the moment with a friend or child or hubby, but it does mean I do better when I know what to expect. Realizing things about ones self at the start of the new year sounds a bit like I meant to think such things. I promise I didn't. It's been my experience through this life that I'm hit over the head with the things I need to see when I need to see them.

Here's to the start of a new year.

Wow. That really opens up the view out your back porch. I'd keep it that way. :0)
