I wanted to see unique Toronto and took everyone on a walk. There was an area called Kensington Market and I thought it sounded like a fun place to see.
We came across this little restaurant and had to take a picture of Tara, Coley and Abby. Abby loves "hot cheese" sandwiches.
Another spot we stumbled upon.

The shops were very unique. At least the one's we did see but the walk was a bit much. It was a hot day and we headed back to the hotel.
After a swim for the girls and a break for the rest of us, we headed down to the waterfront area. The hotel had a shuttle for us and we headed off.
The waterfront was pretty but didn't have as much as we had hoped so we walked towards the CN Tower and came across this fun museum "town" of trains. They had little buildings and a small track but it wasn't running.
We got to the tower and looked at how far we would be going up.

Courtney found this cute area below the tower and we couldn't resist a snapshot.
On our way to the elevator we saw this Mountie.
At the top......
Looking back down.... We all took a step onto the glass except Pete. I couldn't talk him into it. I have to admit it made my stomach flip when I stood there.
Outside.... Oh the wind!
And some fun facts.....

The kids were troopers as we walked back to the hotel. We did find an underground mall that was supposed to connect back near our hotel. We tried to follow it but the second time we got lost a very nice lady asked if she could help us. We explained what we were trying to do and she let us know it was a very confusing route even for those that lived there. We took her advise and headed back up to the streets and found a really cool spot. This was on the side of a building we were passing. The kids all took turns trying to make the save.
