Andy drove us to the port in weather most suited for Oregon. It was raining and windy but we ( I ) had high hopes of seeing the sun before too long.
In the port terminal they had the Disney channel playing on a big screen and had characters come out to see the kids periodically while they waited to board the ship. 
We were in group 3 for boarding and didn't have too long to wait. 
This is the first picture on the ship. They had us go up to deck 9 to the Beach Blanket Buffet for lunch. 
After we had eaten they had the Adventure's Away party but because it was such terrible weather they had it mid-ship inside. It was a bit crowded but was fun. 
For our first breakfast the waiters made hats out of napkins for us. This was a characters breakfast where they came to each of the tables for pictures too.
The port holes on the 3rd deck were huge.
A very fun and different experience.
