An Afternoon of Boating

For the afternoon of Pete's day off we went boating. The kids and I got to go last year but it was without Pete. This time the whole family went out. The kids picked up where they left off...

It was a really good day.

A Day off for Dad

Pete took the day off and we took advantage of the beautiful day. We headed out to Bullwinkles. It's a fun center in Wilsonville. First the kids went on the go carts...Next they got into the water bumper boats....

Then we all played miniature golf. We discovered that we like the green side.

Then the girls went on the virtual roller coaster and Connor did Laser Tag.

After all that fun we took the kids to Fuddruckers for lunch.

We had a great morning.

I don't have any pictures to add right now but I thought I'd better catch up on our daily craziness. The girls are in their 2nd session of swim lessons. They are doing well, improving, and having fun. Connor went to another Scout camp, this time with his cousin Dave and had a great time. This summer he has earned 8 merit badges. I do believe horsemanship is his favorite though.

I got to see my mom and dad without my crazy kids and I really enjoyed myself. Pete survived the weekend with the kids and helped Court go through her clothes that she has out grown (she's growing way too fast!) so that she's ready for school shopping.

The kids are enjoying the time they have had at home this summer and we have been able to enjoy the heat! August will bring a few trips our way and school will be here before we know it!

Family Reunion-Tag

The kids went to play at the park by Bob and Kim's house after dinner. They had to discuss the game they would play and the rules to go with it.

It was fun while it lasted!

Family Reunion-Mt. St. Helens

The family packed a lunch and we headed out to Mt St. Helens. It turned out to be a beautiful day and we could see everything. Quin wasn't too happy and uncle Pete said he remembered taking many of just such photos.
Connor had fun having Felicity for a bit.

Family Reunion-Biking

Pete and I took the girls out for a bike ride. We found some beautiful views. I took this while riding my bike. I'm really glad I didn't crash.

We lost a bit of control with Anna on her bike but she kept her cool and we were able to bring her back to Tom and Jess in one piece!

Family Reunion-Canoing

Courtney wanted to go canoing so Pete took her and whoever else wanted to come......

Papa was gracious and took my camera down so I got some pictures. Jessica and I were watching Jane Eyre and enjoying the younger kids nap time.
